RESEARCH
The
Center designs and sponsors its own projects on nutritional and
psycho-social aspects of cancer control, in collaboration with health
practitioners and scientists.
We are currently studying certain generally unrecognized factors
associated with the development of breast cancer. It is well known
that only 25% of all women diagnosed with breast cancer display
any of the classically recognized risk factors (Jerome Levy, MD,
Your Breasts, 1990). This project is aimed at uncovering
possible new approaches to preventing breast cancer and other cancers
in women.
We are seeking funding from individuals and organizations, in any
amounts, to support our research efforts. This is an opportunity
to participate in a project with enormous potential to benefit health
professionals, their female clients and American women in general.
