The first paper in the issue, Green Tea Fights Cancer by Sin Hang Lee, MD (2004), discusses how research on green tea has shown that the drink may be more than just a great way to relieve stress. In fact, studies have shown that green tea can be a cancer-fighting tea. The relationship between green tea and cancer continues to be studied, but the paper included in this e-book shows how polyphenols in the tea offer anti-cancer properties.

The second paper in the book, The Hidden Hazards of Microwave Cooking by Anthony Wayne and Lawrence Newell, provides insight into the long-asked question “Can microwaves cause cancer?” The research in this paper discusses the dangers of electromagnetic energy and microwave radiation and how the two may increase the risk and growth of cancerous cells in the body.
