Cancer Deaths Avoidable Through Dietary Change.

The most comprehensive study of diet, health and disease ever completed concluded that the transition in China from the traditional Asian plant-based diet to the western diet — animal-based, rich in meat and dairy and fat — is actually responsible for the dramatic increase in cancer rates in that country.

Here’s a flash bulletin from the National Cancer Institute [on] Estimates of Cancer Deaths Avoidable Through Dietary Change:

  • 75% of prostate and colorectal cancers
  • 70% of breast and pancreatic cancers
  • 50 of endometrial and gallbladder cancers
  • 35% of stomach cancers….

From my experience, I’m going to add 75% of all malignant melanomas are diet-related, and new evidence suggests that these figures are actually low!
