The Foundation for Alternative and Integrative Medicine
May 9, 2025 | Author: Joanne QuinnThe Foundation for Alternative and Integrative Medicine (FAIM.org) was launched in 1998 with a mission to identify breakthrough complementary and alternative therapies to help educate the public on the vast array of options to promote health. We literally search the world through the efforts of our National and International Resource Coordinators, with site visits, and interviews.
FAIM’s mission also places importance upon the affordability of treatments in the belief that the world needs cost-effective solutions to bring health to the greatest number of people. From the words of our founder, Berkley Bedell, “The best medicine in the world is useless if the very people who need it cannot afford it.”
FAIM has a team of over 115 respected health professionals who share educational information on alternative and integrative approaches for over 78 health topics. The FAIM website offers an umbrella for experts in many fields to share the latest in natural medicine. This information is delivered free of charge. Through the FAIM.org website we collaborate with our team experts in the field to disseminate accurate and reliable information on natural health care therapies, theories, technologies, and principles. We also share the latest research on topics such as Biofield Research, Cancer Research, Ozone, Nanosilver, Parkinson’s Disease, and Stem Cell Research to mention a few. It is our goal to help visitors to the site become educated, but to also facilitate their search to find protocols, experts, organizations, and educational events.
Collaborations are critical to help connect all the entities who are reaching out to help people learn about options in addition to conventional medicine. With this in mind, we are collaborating with the World Research Foundation which has developed packets of information on more than 325 diseases and illnesses. This information has been gathered in an unbiased, neutral and independent manner from medical and health specialists from around the world. These packets are available on the FAIM site for a fee. It can be overwhelming to receive a challenging diagnosis. In these cases, the research is done and succinctly packaged to assist in creating a healing plan.
The goal at FAIM is to help create a bridge for those wishing to learn about options that are alternative and integrative, to share cutting edge therapies, provide contact information to a multitude of Resources, post upcoming events and educational conferences, and to help people find an avenue for health and wellness.
