Marinette Smith

Marinette Smith is a cancer thriver, Certified Holistic Cancer Coach, and registered nurse with many years of clinical experience. Her cancer journey began in her early thirties, and she is now approaching nine years with no evidence of disease.

Navigating cancer required Marinette to seek out much of her guidance independently, both during and after treatment. Through this process, she implemented meaningful lifestyle changes that significantly improved her health and overall well-being. Her personal experience, combined with her professional nursing background, gave her a unique and deeply informed perspective on the gaps that exist in cancer education, support, and long-term guidance.

While facing cancer herself and later working closely with patients and their loved ones, Marinette recognized a profound need for clearer guidance, healthier habits, and compassionate, accessible cancer support. This realization ignited her passion for helping others reclaim their health, become informed advocates for themselves, and move forward with confidence during and after cancer treatment.

Today, Marinette serves BeatCancer.org as a Master Coach, a role she has earned through her leadership, expertise, and unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission. She plays an integral role in helping develop and refine the Holistic Cancer Coach Certification Program and actively supports fellow coaches and students through mentorship, education, and example. Marinette embodies the principle that knowledge is power and stands as a shining representation of holistic cancer coaching, proudly representing BeatCancer.org and its global impact.
