Maya Simand
January 11, 2026 | Author:Maya Simand is a two-time breast cancer survivor. Her first diagnosis was Stage 3B breast cancer in 2009. In 2015, she experienced a metastatic recurrence to the endometrium.
During her second diagnosis, Maya chose not to follow a conventional medical protocol and instead pursued a holistic approach, achieving powerful and lasting results. She is deeply grateful for the knowledge she gained through her own healing journey and for the profound positive changes it brought to her life.
Inspired by her experience, Maya became a Certified Holistic Cancer Coach to support others through their own cancer journeys. She understands firsthand how critical education, empowerment, and compassionate guidance are for individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis.
Today, Maya serves BeatCancer.org as a Master Coach, a title she has earned through her dedication, leadership, and meaningful contributions to the organization. She has played an integral role in helping develop and strengthen the Holistic Cancer Coach Certification Program, while also providing ongoing support, mentorship, and guidance to both students and fellow coaches. Maya exemplifies the heart, integrity, and professionalism of holistic cancer coaching and is a shining representative of BeatCancer.org’s mission and values.
