Please accept this check for $1,000 with my thanks for the wonderful work you are doing. As you know from my correspondence and talks with you, my sisters and I are forever grateful for the ways in which you and your organization helped my mother, Lois P., when she was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago. Also, I love getting your newsletters and I learn so much from the research you share.

I know we spoke about your coming to give a talk in Nyack in the future. I am presently very busy with my two small children and a business that I run, but down the road I would love to organize such a thing. I think the Rockland community would be helped so much by your visit since Rockland County has the highest rate of breast cancer in New York.
