Dear Dr. Silberstein,

I wanted to write to you in appreciation for taking me on at the center. I am amazed at the amount of knowledge I gained from my short time with you. It was a truly wonderful experience. I am sorry that schoolwork was so heavy this semester. I would have liked to spend more time at the center if it wasn’t.

I am hoping that I can join you again next semester. My schedule is much better for the spring. I will be giving you a call at the end of January after my Christmas break.
