Dear Susan,

Since I spoke to you I have had several conversations with Jim Sparandeo and have decided to go down to Philadelphia to see him & an oncologist.

It turns out that he has seen Canadians before and will be seeing someone from Toronto the same day he’ll be seeing me (20 May).

I appreciate your taking the time to talk to me and giving me some options for treatment. You’re doing a wonderful service with your organization. If I manage to beat the cancer, I’d like to help cancer patients see there are alternatives to chemotherapy & radiation.

I’ve enclosed a check which is from a Canadian bank, but the amount is in U.S. dollars.
