Dear Susan,

I have been meaning to get this off to you for a long time, and at the same time to update you on my progress.

Two years ago, I discovered you and FACT – I often shudder when I think where I would be today if that had not happened. I had had breast cancer in 1966; a mastectomy was performed followed by aggressive chemotherapy treatment. In the fall of 1989, my routine blood work showed indication of a recurrence. That is when my search led me to you.

When I received your introductory packet, I sat down and read straight through – it was all totally new to me, and yet most exciting. I had never been aware that alternative cancer therapy existed. You then put me in touch with Patrick Donovan. It turned out to be an excellent introduction to this new life style. My only concern was that he was not able to give me any data or statistics on the results he was getting, nor could he offer testing to evaluate my progress. After hearing about Nicholas Gonzalez, I decided to switch to Dr. Gonzalez in Dec. 1989.

It is now two years since I have been on the program, and I am ecstatic over my progress. My cancer rate has steadily dropped (I started out with a rate higher than 75% of his patients!), and periodic testing has shown that metabolic repair is taking place. I feel extremely lucky in that I have practically no signs of toxicity. I continue to work part time, and live a normal life around the constraints of the program. The psychological benefits have been tremendous – I no longer feel despair over my disease. I have complete faith in the program, and intend to remain faithful to it until my cancer has been cured.

I have nothing but praise for you and your organization, and the hope that you have provided for thousands of cancer patients. I find your programs which you offer to be excellent and most inspiring. I feel fortunate to be able to pass on my awareness to other cancer patients, and to be able to refer you to them.

I realize that you do have misgivings about Dr. Gonzalez. I agree that his program is aggressive and rigorous, and consequently not for everyone. However, that is exactly what I wanted – getting well is my top priority, and I am prepared to do whatever it takes. I do hope that in your education to the cancer patient, his name is offered as an option, and the individual may then choose which course to pursue.

Again, many, many thanks for helping to get me where I am today.

Sincerely,
Susan H.
