Dear Susan,
Your guidance, commitment to counseling, and your referral system always helped us in making our difficult decisions concerning my husband’s illness. Unfortunately, he passed away during a vacation in Maui in January. Although we were not able to conquer his illness, it was possible for him to enjoy life as much as he did up to the end, where internal bleeding from the tumor was not brought to a halt.
Sincerely,
Hilde M.D.

Dear Susan,
This correspondence is long overdue.
First, thank you for being such a wonderful resource of information, hope, and comfort. I cannot count over the last ten years how many referrals I have made to the Center for Advancement in Cancer Research.
Both professionally and personally, you have provided an adjunct of health care that is too often neglected in the conventional ways of treating persons with cancer.
Please accept this note as a thank you for continuing to care so much for people who need you.
Sincerely,
Ellen L., R.N.

Dear Susan,
Thank you so much for inviting me to the Nutrition Expo last weekend. I had a wonderful time listening to the speakers and I learned a great deal about nutrition and maintenance of overall health. Detoxification of the body is a topic that is of great interest to me and I hope to continue my search for knowledge and learn more about it.
I would also like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and Karen at the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education. I thoroughly enjoyed the few weeks I did get to spend with you. Watching you work was not only educational for me but inspirational and exciting as well. I truly wish I could continue my work with you but, unfortunately, distance, cost of transportation, and time restrictions prevent me from doing so. You have opened up a new source of interest to me and I hope to continue on that path as I grow over the next few years.
I will keep in touch this summer and while I am studying in Australia in the fall, and maybe when I return circumstances will make it easier for us to work together again. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to learn from all of your accomplishments. Your dedication and love for your work will be an inspiration to me always.
Sincerely,
Amy R.
