Dear Ms. Silberstein,

Please forgive me, but I am not sure where to begin. This letter is more or less a “thank you” for the help your center gave to my mother, Carol S.. My mother was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer in the fall of 1991. Her desire to avoid spending the rest of her life in misery lead her to your center. The recommendations she was given led her to a doctor and nutritionist outside Philadelphia.

Through their efforts, my mother beat the two-year expectation on her lifespan & battled the illness for a total of six. She finally succumbed to the illness in January of this year. The fight was long and hard but I think we are all glad for the time we had with her.

It is my firm belief that the information she received from your center is what gave us that time. And for that, I thank you.

Sincerely,
Cliff S.

Dear Susan,

I’ll always remember how helpful you were when I called your office about two years ago to inquire about alternative newsletters for treating illnesses other than cancer. (My husband Newton has A.L.S.)

Your interest and patience were beyond what I had expected, and we did use the information you offered. I’ve told many people about the wonderful work you do.

Until I read about you in the last issue of your newsletter, I did not know what motivated you to give so much of yourself to sick people who need the kind of information you can furnish.

I hope you remain in good health and continue to work to help people who need care in many ways in addition to traditional medicine.

Dear Susan:

I particularly enjoyed the Health News & Views this month, since I was thinking of introducing selenium into my diet. Also, the article on grapes was enlightening since that seems to be a hot product these days. You can be sure I won’t be using Resveratrol.

I’m retired now and I love it. Am traveling and enjoying my seven wonderful grandkids. Life is good.

I hope you and your family are well. Keep up the wonderful work you do. You’re an inspiration to all.

Sincerely,

Fran M.

Dear Susan:

Enclosed is my check to attend the Whole Foods Expo. I very much look forward to attending, especially to hear Bernard Jensen. I have read so much about him!

Recently, I have not been receiving "Immune Perspectives", even though through the United Way, I have pledged $240 for 1997, which is being deducted through the payroll department where I work. If you are still publishing "Immune Perspectives", will you please put me back on the list of recipients.

Thank you for your dedication. I met with you in 1995 and you helped me become aware of the healing options available to a person with breast cancer. I am still meeting with Yao Chi and Jim Sparandeo, both of whom I consider major contributors to my current good health and well-being.

Sincerely,
Ellen H.
