Dear Dr. Susan Silberstein,
Some years ago, when my grandson was about four years old, he had been receiving chemo-therapy for a molecular cancer. I don’t remember who gave me your name & phone number, but I so appreciated your kindness in speaking to me on the phone and sending literature.
Thank you for sending your newsletter through the years.
I’m writing to order the Food Preparation tape for $2.50 and $1.00 for the accompanying literature.
I decided to tell you about my grandson. Michael is fifteen years old now. He has survived the cancer and the chemo. We praise God that he is well. Much prayer went up for Michael.
Enclosed is a check for
$25 – tape – Food preparation for cancer prevention and control
$1 – literature
$6 – subscription
$32.00
Sincerely,
Vida K.

Dear Susan,
One year ago I took the 3 day class about nutrition which changed my life. Carrot juice + wheatgrass, tofu shakes + organic foods are a major part of my family’s life. And juicing!! Well – we are grateful for what you have offered! God bless you. Enclosed is a check for $5,000 to help get the support you need. Keep us posted!
Sincerely,
Carolyn T.

Susan,
My wife, Pat, passed away about 1 ½ years ago (breast cancer).
Though I’m sure you don’t remember us, you were a ray of hope to us when we had very little to be hopeful about. Thank you.

Dear Susan,
I just wanted to let you know that I feel so badly that I've not been able to be in to help these past 4–5 weeks. My friend died the very last of October, which took a fair amount of time, plus I've had workshops every week in November. Now, tomorrow, I leave for Louisiana and Tennessee and won't be back until mid-February. Hopefully, I can give more time in March and April!
Thank you again for all you do in educating and providing resources. I continue to channel people to the Center — which is why I also feel badly I haven't been in to help! I pray God will give you strength for all you do.
Hope your holidays were blessed ones, and refreshing.
Til later,
Chip G.

Dear Susan,
I have tried to call you a few times, but I haven’t gotten through. So I decided to write in order to bring you up to date. After our meeting on Friday, November 1st, the following Monday I saw the oncologic-gynecologist, John C. When I asked him about the “controversial pathology report” according to Ron C., he stated that the ovarian cancer was definitely not related to the breast cancer, and could not understand where Ron C. got that idea from. He even gave me a copy of the pathology report, and it was very clear to my untrained eye. I asked him if he thought there was any reason to continue on chemo. He said, “No.” Meanwhile I canceled the appointment with the oncologist in Sarasota to get my treatment the next day.
Only after placing another call to Cantor yesterday, I finally received a call back this morning (he’s not in on Thurs.). The MUGA scan on my heart was normal, thank goodness. However, he still thinks that I should be on some kind of hormone therapy now that I stopped the adriamycin. I told him that I didn’t want any more therapy and asked that he monitor my progress from now on with the blood test markers, etc.
And that’s the way it stands now.
Everything is going fine right now, and I’ll be working on detoxification.
Enclosed are a few stamps so that you can mail the Center’s newsletters directly to me at:
We’ll be back in Cherry Hill in April (mid-month).
Many thanks for all your help and counseling. I feel very positive about the future. I would never feel this way without you and the Center for Advancement in Cancer Education.
We’ll be home until Dec. 1st and then will leave for Sarasota, just in case you want to drop me a line with anything further.
I’ll keep in touch.
Sincerely,
Phyllis R.
