Dear Susan,
I think the world is a better place because of you and your center.
I will be forever grateful for all your help, especially your emotional support and advice in the care of my battle with breast cancer.
When I first came to your center I was a very frightened woman but you and your wonderful staff helped me to face the future with courage.
Best wishes for the New Year.
Affectionately,
Dude K.

Dear Susan Silberstein,
I have been for several years a member of CACE. It is because of you that my mother, Lois P., has a very good quality of life. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago, my mom and I met with you and we decided that chemotherapy was not the route for my mother to go. Since that time she has had an excellent quality of life (even though she has lots of other health issues), she was working closely with Jim Sparandeo (your recommendation), and she has gotten involved with the positive programs at the Wellness center. If it were not for your organization, I shudder to think how she would be doing now. I am not exaggerating when I say that I will be forever grateful to you and the work that you are doing.
You were also there for us when my Aunt Paula in Florida was diagnosed with leukemia about 9 months ago. I contacted you shortly after she got the diagnosis and you had a phone session with her (and me on the phone) while she was in the hospital. Sadly, she passed away just weeks after that.
My business has been doing well and I would like to give your organization $1,000. I read that for a Benefactor member a complimentary educational presentation is possible. Can you tell me more about this? I have recently moved from NYC to the charming town of Nyack, 40 minutes from NYC (By the way, it is in Rockland County which I heard has a high rate of breast cancer). Is an educational presentation something that you do yourself? Do you do it outside of the Philadelphia area? I would be very interested in organizing something like this here in Nyack.
I look forward to hearing from you when you have a moment.
With deep thanks,
Liz P.

Re: Gift Donation in Memory of Joseph C.
To Whom It May Concern:
Enclosed please find a check in the amount of $25.00 which represents a gift donation in memory of the following person who has passed away from pancreatic cancer:
I don’t personally know of anyone who has been treated by your Center. However, after research on helping friends who have cancer I found your Center and believe your cause is worthwhile. I believe in your mission of combining the body’s natural healing potential with advanced in medical science. I know of two people who have been diagnosed with cancer who are living a better life doing alternative treatment and survived the dreadful disease. Five people close to me have done only the medical treatment of radiation and chemotherapy and have not survived the disease. It was heartbreaking to see they suffer as they did.
Keep up the good work. I will continue to recommend your Center with the hope that people will follow the advice.
Sincerely yours,
Barbara H.
Please send a gift acknowledgement to his spouse: Margaret C. at the Rio Grande address. Thank you.

I am enclosing a check in the amount of $25 in memory of Thomas R.
Acknowledgement should be sent to his son:
Mr. Patrick R.
As an aside, I think it is safe to say every passenger on the June 10 bus trip to New York came away with a lot of positive information from watching your tape. Carolyn was wise to feature it on the trip home.
May you and your volunteers continue to enjoy success with all of your CACE programs.
Thank you.
